What can go wrong with a title that speaks for itself in "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip"? The film is the hilarious new comedy that premiered on Disney+ on March 28 starring Eva Longoria. The movie follows eleven-year-old Alexander and his multi-generational family as they embark on a dream Spring Break vacation to Mexico City, only to have all their plans go terribly wrong when they discover a cursed idol.
Directed by Marvin Lemus and written by Matt Lopez, the film is a sequel to Disney's 2014 film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, based on 1970's children's book by Judith Viorst. The all-new family comedy stars Eva Longoria, Jesse Garcia, Paulina Chávez, Rose Portillo, and Thom Nemer, with Cheech Marin.
In this lighthearted adventure filled with plenty of hijinks, laughter, and a series of misfortunes, Alexander will find out if his family really is cursed! The movie provides plenty of good-natured fun and entertaining moments that kids will enjoy while celebrating the importance of family and cultural representation.
