After a 10 year hiatus, Disney's beloved cartoon Phineas and Ferb is back, warming our hearts in their newest summer adventure. Voiced by Vincent Martella as Herb and David Errigo Jr. as Ferb, the timeless classic, which has spawned two television movies, a live touring show, and a theme park at Walt Disney World Resort, returned with a two-part premiere on June 5 for its fifth season on the Disney Channel and Disney XD.
The Emmy Award-winning animated series is one of Disney's most successful animation series of all time, following the success of its original run for four seasons between 2007 and 2015 and the Disney+ Original movie Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe back in 2020 led by co-creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh.
The series follows British stepbrothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher in their wild adventures with their friends Isabella, Baljeet, and Buford, much to the disapproval of their older sister Candace. The gang tackles another 104 days of summer, filled with unforgettable milestones, and of course, the series won't be complete without pet platypus Perry, who leads a double life as Agent P, whose life mission is to take down arch nemesis Dr. Doofenschmirtz from taking over the tri state area. The boys will break several world records, Candace will take her driver's license test, and Perry will finally make a trip to the vet!

The series boasts a talented cast of original actors lending their voices that includes:
Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn
David Errigo Jr. as Ferb Fletcher
Caroline Rhea as Linda Flynn-Fletcher
Richard O'Brien as Lawrence Fletcher
Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus
Alyson Stoner as Isabella Garcia-Shapiro
Bobby Gaylor as Buford Van Stomm
Maulik Pancholy as Baljeet Tjinder
Dan Povenmire as Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz
Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as Major Francis Monogram
Tyler Alexander Mann as Carl Karl
Olivia Olson as Vanessa Doofenshmirtz
With catchy hit songs and 10 songs from the original series, the new series is just as fun and vibrant as what we can expect from a Disney original, evoking nostalgia from the previous seasons. Phineas and Ferb haven't missed a step, and with 40 episodes in total, spread across two seasons, this family-friendly series is sure to be a hit with kids who will enjoy the newest shenanigans of the titular duo.
All ten episodes of Season 5 of Phineas and Ferb are currently available on Disney+.
